Chicken Steak With White Sauce

This steak is so easy to make and has ingredients that you will easily find in the pantry.

Marination:
 7 Chicken fillet pieces
 2 tbsp Nandos peri peri sauce
 4 tbsp Vinegar
 6 tbsp Olive oil
 4 Garlic cloves
 1 tbsp Black pepper powder
 1 tbsp Salt
 1 tbsp Soya sauce
 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
 3 tbsp Cream
 2 Green chili
 4 Lemons/Lime
 1 Handful coriander
 1 tbsp Paprika powder
 1 tbsp Sugar
 3 tbsp Chili garlic ketchup
White Sauce:
 2 tbsp Butter
 1 Small onion chopped
 1 cup Milk
 6 tbsp Fresh cream
 6 Cheddar cheese grated
 1 tsp Black pepper powder
 1 tsp Salt
 Coriander leaves

-Take chicken fillets, poke holes with fork and set aside.

- In a food processor add some garlic cloves, lemon juice, peri peri sauce, vinegar, salt, sugar and grated lemon or lime, black pepper and Olive Oil. Give it a good mix in the food processor for 30 seconds.

- Add coriander, paprika powder and green chilies in the food processor and mix for 30 seconds.

- Put the mixture in bowl and add cream, tomato ketchup, soya sauce, Worcestershire sauce and chili garlic ketchup.

- Marinate the chicken fillets for 4 hours or overnight.

- Cook the Chicken on a grilling pan or a frying pan, add the marination sauce on top while the chicken is on the pan.

- Cook each side of the chicken for around 5-7 minutes.

White Sauce

-In saucepan, add butter and let it melt, add onion and saute until translucent.

-Add milk and give it a good mix.

-Add cream and mix well.

-Add cheddar cheese and mix well

-Add salt, black pepper, coriander leaves and mix well, cook until desired thickness.

- Serve with buttered rice, potato wedges or steamed veggies.
